Clinical Director & Speech-Language Pathologist
As a life-long learner, Sharon is passionate about helping others reach their own learning potential. She found her calling as a speech-language pathologist over 20 years ago. Since completing her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology in 2001, Sharon has supported children and young adults in school, preschool, and private-practice settings. She has consulted to professionals and parents across Ontario, with a focus on autism-informed supports and programming for complex learning needs. Her life experience and her ongoing learning about the lived experiences of neurodivergent individuals motivate Sharon to provide responsive, evidence-based, client-centered care. This has been her inspiration for founding Engaging Potential Autism-Informed Services.

Ontario Certified Teacher, and Communication & Learning Assistant
Hello! My name is Chantal and I have enjoyed fostering student growth as an educator for over 10 years. Earlier in my career, I worked as an Early Childhood Educator with the Durham District School Board. Then I became an Ontario Certified Teacher, and I have since taught students in primary, junior and intermediate grades. Now, working in my grade 2/3 class, I enjoy utilizing the principles from the Science of Reading. Each day, I see how it is helping to support student learning. As a child, school did not come easily for me. That experience is what fuels my drive to ensure that all students feel capable and competent in their learning! After earning 2 university degrees, I am now pleased to be able to help students, both as a teacher in the schools, and through my work with Engaging Potential.
