Engaging Potential is offering Reading Rangers therapy groups for kids 6-8 years old. If your child is a grade 2 student who is reading one or two grades below, this group might be for them. The small literacy groups will run on Saturday mornings, from July 12 – August 24, at our Pickering Clinic. Methods will be based on the science of reading. One group will focus on decoding skills (sounding out new words when reading). The other group will focus on reading comprehension. Activities will be led by a teacher with the guidance of a speech-language pathologist.
